She promised me it was, and she was right! When I left the department store I had a fit of gluten paranoia, so I got the box out of the bag and checked the ingredients. No gluten! Plus, the lipstick itself is really nice -- very creamy. I just purchased an Origins Flower Fusion lipstick today after asking the salesperson twice if she was sure it was gluten free. Really would prefer to use something backed by someone saying it's GF. I'll be looking into that one for myself.
