I too am trying to spread the word of gluten and celiac around as many corners as I can. My twenty year old daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease July of 2008. It has been daunting, trying to adapt to the new gluten free lifestyle she must adhere to. I have contacted our state and local legislators as well as local administrative officials who have been more than sympathetic. We need more however...we need attention, knowledge, information and money for research and a cure. The more we all speak about it, the more exposure we get. The more the public sees it out in view, the more likely they will realize they know another person with the disease. This will lead to more donations and a possible cure.
